Blogs to support communication

Zeng Jinyan (曾金燕) is 22 years old and lives in Beijing, China. Her husband, Hu Jia, works to uphold the human rights of Chinese AIDS patients. Unfortunately the local authorities do not accept his need for freedom and react arresting and keeping him in jail for long time.

Zeng does not accept this discrimination and decided to talk to people around the world to seek support. What did she do? She opened a blog to start talking about her husband’s situation. As a consequence Time considered her as a powerful person, mentioning her in a public list of Heroes&pioneers of our times.

Whatever your political point view can be, I think we have to sustain her peaceful way of acting and link her blog to increase her popularity on the web and outside, and publicly sustain every quiet and peaceful way of fighting for democracy and supporting of human rights.

Thanks Zeng for the example you give us.
