Need a brainstorm? Use a chat!

Do you need to brainstorm to put together ideas on a specific topic? Do you want to know what does your team think about a new suggestion or a new tool?

So, have a chat with them on that.

What do I mean? It's easy: record people's ideas using a chat room. How? Go to a place where you are free to open a chat room or use your IM. Invite the members of the team or the people whose point of view you want to know. Then, ask your question. You will have soon a list of ideas. You can see how different they are and how much you can have from it. The list is written rather than oral and you can reflect on it before taking the next step and make your decision. Good way to use a chat, isn't it?
